Reverend Teresa Galloway Clark was born and raised in Wilmington, Delaware. She and her confidante and strong shoulder, husband Alfunzo Clark, relocated to SC in 2006. She is currently the Pastor of Stover Chapel AME Church.

Reverend Clark graduated from Coppin State University in Baltimore with a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Science. She earned her Masters of Divinity degree at Turner Seminary of the Interdenominational Theological Center, in Atlanta Georgia. She is pursuing her Doctor of Ministry at the Dickerson Green Theological Seminary of Allen University.  Clark currently works for the SC Department of Public Health in Finance and Operations.

She was ordained as an itinerant Deacon in the African Methodist Episcopal Church on September 29, 2017. On September 24, 2022, she was ordained as an Itinerant Elder.

She joined the Women in Ministry as a Licentiate in 2013 and has held the positions of Columbia District Secretary, Columbia District Coordinator and is currently the Statistician for the Seventh Episcopal District Women in Ministry.

Her favorite Bible verse is Psalm 61: 1-2: “Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.  From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed: lead me to the rock that is higher than I.”  Reverend Clark simply loves the Lord. She tells others that all she has are resources, but Jesus is the SOURCE!
