Rev. Eddie Lee Thompson has been serving God for over 54 years as a strong and faithful woman of God throughout the Piedmont Conference.  Despite experiencing rejections and challenges as a woman in ministry, Rev. Thompson stood firm in her calling from God.  God used her to be one of the first women that many heard preach--proving that God can use a woman to share the Good News.  Although she never pastored, she supplied many churches throughout the conference.  She has been and continues to be an encourager of women entering in ministry.
