Greetings from the President

Greetings and welcome to the official website of the Seventh Episcopal District Women in Ministry (WIM)! Serving alongside gifted and committed women and ministry supporters across South Carolina is a joy and an honor. Under the visionary leadership of our Presiding Prelate, Bishop James L. Davis, and Episcopal Supervisor, Mrs. Arelis B. Davis, we are excited about all that God is doing in and through the lives of women called to serve.

We are grateful for the guidance and wisdom of our WIM Consultant, Presiding Elder Rosalyn G. Coleman, and for the faithful support of our Associate Members—male clergy, spouses, and laity—who walk alongside us in ministry.

As WIM, we strive to empower, engage, and enrich one another, providing a platform where women in ministry can be affirmed, celebrated, and strengthened in their callings. Our mission guides our work:

"To define, enhance, support, and expand the presence of women in ministry in leadership within the African Methodist Episcopal Church."

As we live into our Quadrennial Theme, "Embracing Our Divine Design for Kin-dom Impact," we are reminded of the sacred call on our lives.

"For we are God's masterpiece. God has created us anew in Christ Jesus so we can do the good things God planned for us long ago." – Ephesians 2:10 (NLT)

Please take a few moments to explore our website. Here, you'll find information about our mission, upcoming events, ways to connect, and how to become a member. Whether you are a seasoned leader or just beginning your journey in ministry, there is a place for you in this community.

We would love for you to join us as we continue to make a lasting impact on the Kingdom of God. Let us walk together supporting, equipping, and uplifting one another as we fulfill our divine assignments.

With Purpose and Passion,

Rev. Dr. Mary F. Rhodes
